Diane Elizabeth Sott, 65, of Bald Mountain, died Dec. 15, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday from Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark St., Plains Township. Visitation is set for 9 a.m. to service time.

We were so very sorry to hear of Diane's passing. As my younger cousin, I will always remember her, for her love of family and her many pets and animals. One of her last messages to me, since I live in California, was concern about whether we have wild burros in our area; luckily we don't, as I could imagine her trying to come and rescue one! She will be always be remembered in our hearts... With deepest sympathy and condolences to all of you.
