Born on Friday, October 14, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, Diane was a cherished daughter, loving mother, and devoted grandmother who brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Festus.
Diane was preceded in death by, her parents, Alexander M. and Rose (McHugh) Thom; brother, Dennis Thom, ex-husband, and friend Tom Tiller.
Diane dedicated her career as a Medical Technician in the nursing home industry. Her compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to her work made a significant impact on the lives of the residents and their families, reflecting her deep empathy and care for others.
In her earlier days, Diane found joy in a variety of passions, including genealogy, sewing, and sketching, all of which allowed her to express her creativity and connect with her heritage. She shared many wonderful moments with her special friend, Sandi Bohnert, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Above all, Diane was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them,
leaving a legacy of love and kindness that will live on through them. Diane is survived by her beloved son Alexander Tiller and daughter-in-law Laina; one granddaughter Jenna Pinson, and dear friend Sandi Bohnert, they will carry her memory in their hearts.
Diane’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched, and though she is no longer with us in body, her love and warmth will continue to guide her family and friends in the years to come.
