Diane Westbrooke
May 12, 1939 – November 4, 2025

Diane Westbrooke, 86, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on November 4, 2025. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 12, 1939, she was a bright light whose humor, warmth, and love for life touched everyone she met.

Married to her husband, Henry "Hank" Westbrooke, Jr., for 66 years, Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family beyond measure. She and Hank raised three children - Kim Greaves, Steve Westbrooke, and Karen Rodriguez - and she delighted in her grandchildren Marshall Dyer, Melissa Isenberg, Molly Dyer, Madison Westbrooke, and Ryan Morgan, along with her five great-grandchildren, all who affectionately called her Dede.

Diane and Hank met at Mizzou, where she caught his attention with her energy, her laugh, and her ability to sing and dance. They were married in Germany while Hank served in the Army, an adventure that sparked a lifelong love of travel. Together they explored Europe, and later, countless destinations across the U.S. Their shared years were filled with tennis matches, ski trips, and rounds of golf that often shaped their travel plans. Outside of the home, Diane gave her time and heart to her community, as a member of the Community Service League and the Association of Junior League for many years, serving on the board of the local chapter of the American Red Cross and spending ten wonderful years at Noble & Associates, where she loved her work and built lasting friendships. She also found great joy singing in church choirs through the years, sharing her voice and spirit with the same warmth she brought to every part of her life.

She stayed busy with her P.E.O. sisters, her beloved art group, and weekly bridge games that were equal parts strategy and laughter. She was also a proud member of a fierce Wordle crew, and she approached every puzzle - and every day - with energy and humor.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and connection. Diane made life brighter for everyone lucky enough to know her, and her warmth and wit will be deeply missed.
