Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Friend, Diane, passed peacefully in her sleep the morning of Monday, October 6th, 2025, after a battle with terminal cancer. Diane was born on December 31st, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents Renee and Paul Champneys.
Diane was truly the embodiment of love and light, and will be remembered for her smile that lit up any room that was blessed with her presence. She worked hard at everything she did, and played even harder. May we all feel her heavenly love through her love of 80’s rock and roll, travelling to the beach and Sunday football (Go Bronco’s!).
Remaining to cherish memories of Diane are her children (Chante, Johnathan [Kody] and Cole [Taija]), grandchildren (Mila, Ashton, Austin), sister and best friend (Julie [Gary]), devoted spouse of over 10 years (John, plus his wonderful kids and grandchildren) and parents (Renee and Paul). Preceding Diane in death is her oldest son, Alex and grandparents.
As Diane did not wish to have a funeral, please feel free to honor her memory by donating to one of her favorite causes or charities, if you are able to.
