Diane Frances Wisneski, of Montgomery County, Maryland, passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Washington, D.C. on November 16, 1940, she lived her entire life in Maryland. Diane graduated from Montgomery Blair High School and studied at both Ohio State University and the University of Maryland.

In the 1950s, she bravely survived polio, showing the strength and determination that defined her life. She married her beloved husband, Harris, in 1966, and together they raised their children, Ed and Brie, with love, and encouragement. Their home was filled with warmth, laughter, and traditions that carried forward into the next generation.

Diane began her career in social work, serving children and families in Baltimore and Montgomery County, before pausing her career to raise her own family. In 1977 she began a new chapter in real estate, earning frequent recognition in the "Million Dollar Club" with Long & Foster.

Her life was marked by resilience. Diane survived breast cancer twice and faced dementia in her later years with courage and dignity, supported by the love of her family.

She was vivacious and full of life-an avid fan of baseball and football, cheering for the Senators, Orioles, Nationals, and above all her Washington "Redskins," a passion she passed on to her family. She enjoyed canasta and mahjong with friends, traveling on cruises, music, dancing, Broadway shows-especially Les Misérables-and evenings out with Harris. She delighted in simple joys too, like a scoop of chocolate marshmallow ice cream from Gifford's.

Most of all, Diane loved her family. She was "Gobe" to her five grandchildren-Corey, Aden, Nathan, Kyra, and Zach-who will forever cherish memories of her warmth, humor, and unconditional love. Diane is survived by her husband, Harris Wisneski, her children and their spouses. She was predeceased by her brother, Bob.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend-vivacious, opinionated, caring, and deeply loving.

The family deeply thanks all who have shared their love, prayers, and support. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Diane's memory
