Dianna Gail Evans 82, of Bartlett, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Gail was born on June 10, 1943, in Mena, Arkansas to Lorene and Otho Cooley. Gail grew up in Mena, Ark. until 8th grade and later lived in Memphis, TN attending East High School. She worked as an Insurance Agent at Kellon Insurance Agency for over 40 years.

Gail Evans was known for her kindness and willingness to help others. She volunteered for the clown ministries with Bartlett Baptist Church in the 70’s later moving to Bartlett Methodist Church in the 80’s - starting the Sunday night dinners for the youth. She enjoyed crafts, reading, music – especially John Denver, cooking, baking and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Becky Benzie (Dean) of Bartlett, TN, Lara Hamilton (Joe) of Munford, TN, Henry Oliver Jr. of Bartlett, TN , Amber Noel of Memphis, TN and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Gene Low (Tom) of Kentucky and Cindy Clark (Mike) of Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Evans, her sister Jackie Thulin, her brother Raymond Green and both parents.

Graveside services will be held on April 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Home & Memorial Park at 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38113.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics of Greater Memphis in Dianna Gail Evans’ memory.
