Dianne L. Barr, 66, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side.
Dianne was born May 24, 1956, in East Point, Georgia to Howard F. and Doris {Harmon} Jollay. She graduated from Mapleton High School in 1974. Following high school, she graduated from Mid Ohio School of Nursing. She married Jody Barr on October 14, 1978.
Dianne was an LPN for many years, retiring in 2015 from Ashland Home Care. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of New London. Dianne loved music and decorating for Christmas. She enjoyed baking, reading, canning, and sewing. The love of her life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Dianne will be deeply missed by her husband, Jody; daughter Julie (Thomas) Kumpik of Nankin, son Aaron Barr of Shelby; grandchildren Liam and Aiden Kumpik; brothers David (Judy) Jollay of Ontario, OH, Gary (Donna) Jollay and Ken (Amanda) Jollay all of Ashland.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Harry and Mildred Barr; a niece and a nephew.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 am service Friday at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland with Pastor Richard Grilley officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
