Dianne Culliver Obituary
March 14, 1939 - May 26, 2024
Whitefish - Dianne Jean Culliver, age 85, peacefully departed this world May 26, 2024 surrounded by family in Whitefish, MT. She was born March 14, 1939 in Cambridge, MA to the late Raymond Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis Buchanan.
Dianne grew up as the daughter of Irish and Scottish immigrants. She moved from the east coast to the west coast following her spouse's career in the Air Force. Dianne was passionate about all animals, but specifically cats and dogs. She always had them around and raised Siamese cats for a small time. Dianne would give generously to all organizations supporting animal rescue. Professionally, she was always working in the service industry. Dianne first started as a waitress at Denny's and went on to a managerial role for a fine dining establishment, The Landmark. Dianne could be elegant, spicy, enthusiastic, high spirited, and spoke her mind. She absolutely loved shopping. The perfect day for Dianne would include stopping for some sweets to eat and continuing to go shopping at TJ Maxx before heading back home to be with her little dog Zander. Dianne was creative and had an eye for decorating. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera, Young and Restless, which she has watched since the mid-80s.
Dianne is survived by children: Sheree E. Garcia (Robert), Julie Steigler (Gary), and Sheavon Ammons; 6 grandchildren: Andrew Shawn Aguirre, Amber Jolly, Taylor D. Mason, Brandon Garcia, Savana Ammons, and Aris Ammons; 3 great-grandchildren: Mason Jolly, Dominick Jolly, and Jordana Jolly; and little dog, Xander. In addition to her parents, Dianne is preceded in death by 1st husband, James Hennessy; 2nd Husband, William Mason; 3rd husband, Lawrence Vincent Culliver; brother: Ray Lewis and John Lewis; sisters, Barbara Goguen and Betty Ann Lewis.
