Dianne Hopperstad Obituary
Dianne Lee Hopperstad, 76, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday September 28th. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years Dave, and two daughters, Lisa (Philip) and Lori. Dianne was proud to be the grandmother to eight grandchildren, Ryan (McKenzie), Kayla (Adam) Kyle, Tyler, Sarah, Alec, Evan and Kate and two Great grandchildren Hazel and Harvey.
Dianne’s warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She dedicated her life to her family. Her love was the foundation of many cherished memories, and her laughter will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank everyone at St. Croix Hospice and Cornerstone caregiving for the compassion, care and love given to Dianne.
A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held from 3-6 pm on Wednesday, October 2nd at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, where family and friends can come together to honor her memory. A vigil service will be held at 6:00 pm. A funeral Mass for Dianne will be held on Thursday, October 3rd at 11:00 am at St. Edward Catholic Church in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Croix Hospice Cedar Rapids, St Edwards Catholic Church Waterloo, or to Cure PSP reflecting Dianne’s caring spirit.
She will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
