Dianne Kvasnicka, 72, of Winona Kansas died Sunday August 31, 2025, peacefully in her home with her husband by her side, the love of her family and her unwavering faith.
Dianne was born on May 2, 1953, in Cortez, CO to Richard James and Mary M. Elliott. As a child, her family moved to California where she spent most of her youth. She graduated from Red Bluff Union High School in Red Bluff, CA and then attended Redding Cosmetology Beauty College.
Dianne met the love of her life, Richard Kvasnicka, when he took a trip with a friend to California and met the girl next door. They enjoyed a long-distance relationship exchanging letters until their marriage in 1973. Together they made Kansas their home on a farm south of Winona where they raised their four children. During those years, Dianne also owned a salon and spent many years as a cosmetologist.
She loved the farming and ranching life along with her favorite hobbies of quilting with her friends, teaching her granddaughters to sew, tending her flowerbeds and canning season with her husband. But most of all she loved Jesus and the blessings he bestowed on her and her family.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Richard Kvasnicka; four children, Dawnelle (Troy) Carper, Jolene (Curt) Dirks, Clint Kvasnicka, and Wyatt (Lindy) Kvasnicka; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; siblings, brother, Mike (Peggy) Elliott, brother Bradley (Debbie) Elliott, sister Ladean (John) Stroing and sister Tracy (Brett) Reilly and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
