The services celebrating and honoring the life of Lynn F. "Kwas" Kvasnicka, 84, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the Brown-Cummings Chapel. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A Life Celebration Home.
Lynn Franklyn Kvasnicka was born September 2, 1941 in Hebron, Nebraska to Ben and Leola Kvasnicka and passed from this life September 17, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma, peacefully surrounded by family.
He was raised and educated in Hebron until the age of fourteen when as a sophomore he moved to Enid, Oklahoma, in 1956. He continued his education in Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1959. He began working for George E. Failings Co. as a machinist and at Farmland until the 1970s when he founded Lynn’s Machine Shop and Oil Field Equipment. He was the founding owner and operator of Country Lounge, Shooters, The Hitching Post and Club 30; he did all of this while also operating his machine shop. He married Rhonda Owings June 10, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the couple made their home in Enid. He is a member of the Elks Lodge and also enjoys spending time at the casino, traveling, going on cruises, and playing shuffleboard.
He enjoyed life with his wife Rhonda Kvasnicka, of the home, his children, Mike Kvasnicka and wife Pam and Rick Kvasnicka, Michael Owings, Emily Dewbre and husband Scott, Timothy Owings and spouse Marti, and daughter Jennifer McBride and husband James; his grandchildren, Sam, Tabor, Hannah, Greydon, Bryce, Ben, Brodie,Jeslyn, Anthony, Skylar, Preston, Danica, Jacob, Josh and Jessica; six great-grandchildren including Jettson and Jessup ; and numerous extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kevin and his first wife, Carol.
