Obituary of Dianne Ruperto
Diane Ruperto, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend passed on July 29, 2023 at the age of 68. She was born on February 16, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY to Anthony Ruperto and Iris Sepulveda Mendez. Dianne moved to Poinciana, FL in September of 2022, from N. Lauderdale, where she lived for many years. Her last position was in a Cardiologist office as a coding clerk in Fort Lauderdale. She was a member of the church "Congregación de Mita", in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Dianne lived her life devoted to her faith in God which was a source of inspiration to those that knew her.
Dianne had a passion for the arts, especially oil and acrylic painting, many of which you can find in businesses in Puerto Rico. She also created large one of a kind garden fountains, one in specific being used for baptisms in a catholic church in Puerto Rico. She was a Puerto Rican Artisan, known for her unique creations in different crafts and mediums. Music was also an integral part of Dianne's life, and she showcased her talent by playing the Guitar, Harp and Trombone. She loved and embraced her Puerto Rican roots and used her artistic talents to honor her culture heritage.
Dianne was predeceased by her father, Anthony Ruperto, and her siblings, Charlie Ruperto from Queens NY and Jeannette Castillo from Pawtucket, RI. She is survived by her mother, Iris Sepulveda Mendez from Poinciana, FL; siblings, Tim and his wife Annette Ruperto from Barcelone, Spain; Sally Castillo from Paterson, NJ and Dorcas and husband Harry Watts of Poinciana, FL; plus, several nieces and nephews whose lives she touched with her love and kindness.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4th, 2023 at 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Dianne will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
