Dianne Claire Smith, age 78, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025.
Dianne was born on December 12, 1946, in Biloxi. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi for two years. Dianne was employed with South Bell. She was also a wedding consultant and a kindergarten teacher. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, cake decorating, flower arranging, and crafts.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father, Clifton T. “C.T.” Switzer; mother, Eula Webb Switzer; husband, Brooks Smith; and children, Ashleigh Humphries and Victoria Butler.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Joshua Humphries and Isabelle Butler; sister, Tommye C. Skinner-Jackson; brother, C.T. Switzer, Jr.; caregiver, Addie Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Vital Caring and others who assisted with Dianne’s care.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Park. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Smith family.
