Dianne Williams, 69, of Quitman, went to be with Jesus on March 26, 2023.
Dianne was born on August 5, 1953, in Fort Hood, Texas to the late Hollice Wayne and Mary Frances Hicks. She was a member of the Cartwright Baptist Church and was involved with the Forever Young activity center in Quitman for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hollice Wayne Hicks and Mary Frances (Patterson) Hicks and a brother, Benny Ray Hicks.
She is survived by her loving family, son, Justin Wayne Williams and wife Sarah of Quitman; her beautiful grandchildren, Walker Zay Williams, Emma Jean Williams, and Judson Wayne Williams; sister Brenda Hight and husband Larry of Belton; brother James Hicks and wife Missy of Quitman; several nieces and nephews, Jennifer Holmes, Travis Hight and wife Dawn of Temple, Keisha Collins of Tyler, Brandon Hicks and wife Jennifer of Hockley, Carmen Labit and husband Michael of Quitman, Cody Hicks of Livingston, and Cammie Hicks of Quitman; and numerous other family and many friends.
Funeral services to celebrate the Faith, Life and Love of Dianne Williams will be held at 2:00PM, Friday March 31st in the Cartwright Baptist Church in Cartwright with Cody Mize officiating and a eulogy delivered by close family friend, Brother Fred Morrow. The family will receive friends the night before on Thursday, March 30 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Lowe-Gardner Funeral Home in Quitman. Burial will follow the service at Quitman City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Cody Gilbreath, Tater Holmes, Brandon Hicks, Cody Hicks, Travis Hight, and Michael Labit. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Hight, Kashton Labit, Lincoln Labit, Shannon Rivers, and Dahrel Hobbs.
