Dimitri Konkolowich, a cherished, loving husband and father, passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 97. Born on April 19, 1927, in New York, NY, Dimitri lived a life filled with hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
He devoted 35 years of his professional life to the Public Service Electric & Gas Company, where he was respected for his commitment and service. Beyond his career, Dimitri was a World War II Army veteran where he proudly served his country, a chapter of his life that he carried with honor.
Dimitri was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Viola Konkolowich, (nee Wolenski), who was a significant part of his life journey. Together, they nurtured a family that continues to grow and thrive. He is survived by his three daughters: Denise Konkolowich, Michele Blood and husband, William, and Andrea Konkolowich, and husband, Lloyd Hession. Dimitri leaves behind five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a great-grandson on the way, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Funeral services will be held privately.
