To Charlotte and family. Sorry to hear about your loss. I offer my prayers and condolences to the Genga family. When I learned of Dino's passing I remembered a lunch I shared with him and my father Joseph Carchidi at the construction site at Glastonbury High School. This was in 1972. My father was working there and I was working in New Britain. So we three had lunch under the shade of a tree in mid summer. It was a wonderful time and never to be forgotten.

I met Dino about 4 years ago at Frank's Willow Inn! He was such a nice man and easy to talk to! I used to hold the door for him every Tuesday entering Frank's for our social gathering!! I will miss his true kindness!

Dino was one of my old "Doral" golfing buddies, mostly going to Florida. He was always a pleasure to be with. My condolences to his family.

Worked for Dino for a few years at Pratt, good guy and a good guy to work for and fair. Enjoyed my time with him and the group, Quick story, I used to sneak out and get a coffee across the street and one day he asked me to get him one and I did, problem. his boss Ray Karpe saw me so he told Dino what I was up to and Dino being the good boss chewed my butt, but he got his coffee

I worked with Dino at Pratt & Whitney and always enjoyed his company. We were both Springfield Tech alums along with Clark Shea - they being 10 years my senior. I remember him telling me he grew up on Prouty Street in 16 Acres, right around the corner from where I was back in the 90s.
I played golf and softball with him and he was always the consummate competitor and gentleman. Dino had a great sense of humor and was always an engaging personality. RIP my friend
