Dino Loukas Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Dino Loukas was born on July 9th, 1950 to loving parents, Edward and Mary. He has 7 siblings who he shared a special bond with and loved dearly. He grew up in a home that celebrated their Greek heritage. He had a smile that was bright and would light up any room he was in. He always exuded happiness and positivity, even at the end when his health was declining. He was a man that would do anything for anyone, especially his family. Dino worked as an iron worker for the millwrights, Local 1102, which lead to a strong work ethic that he could pass on to his boys. Dino's favorite hobby was playing blackjack or craps at MGM or better yet, Vegas. He had three sons who he was so proud of, Dino Jr, Eddie and Nicky. He helped them with their businesses and worked side by side with Eddie every day for over 20 years. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren and great grandchild with whom he shared a birthday. He loved being "Papou" and his love for them was immeasurable. Dino passed away surrounded by the people who love him most and who will carry on his beautiful energy and love for life! Family and friends are welcome to share love and memories on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd., Shelby Twp.) from 3:00 - 8:00pm with a scripture service being said at 7:00 pm. May Dino's soul rest in peace.
