Diona Hollar Rose

Diona Hollar Rose, born August 15, 1947, in Woodstock, Virginia, passed away on December 11, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife to Larry for 60 years, Diona was the heart of her family and a driving force behind the family business Shenandoah Greenery. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren-her beloved "rosebuds"-and found her greatest joy in their love and togetherness. Diona's warmth, adventurous spirit, and competitive game nights created countless cherished memories. She is fondly remembered for her lifelong friendships, her playful sense of humor, and her unwavering devotion to family. Diona's legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in all who knew her.

Diona was preceded by her parents Richard and Geneva Hollar as well as her beloved brother Dallas Hollar. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Rose; her children Kenneth Farmer (Julie), Tonja Landreth (Brian), Tyanne Lowe, Tammy Robertson (Ed), Troy Rose (Nichole) and Timothy Rose (Kevin). She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica, Cory, Seth, Kayli, Shelby, Raelyn, Kylene, Dalton, Dakota, Dustin and Emily and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Services to honor her remarkable life will be held On Tuesday December 16, 2025, at 2:00pm at Wesley Chapel Church in Woodstock. Burial will follow in Hudson Crossroads Cemetery. Pastor Terry Hendricks will officiate.
