Dionisio Bernazard

Dionisio Bernazard, 80, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Staten Island University Hospital North. We remember with love and gratitude a devoted father, grandfather, and friend. He lived his life with kindness, strength, and a deep love for his family. His wisdom and laughter touched everyone who knew him, and his presence brought warmth to every gathering. He is survived by his wife Aida, 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love lives on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be forever missed and always remembered. He was surrounded by his loved ones, his wife Aida, daughter Mildred, his daughter Aida and husband Frank and his daughter Yoly; his grandchildren Kristina and her husband Jose; grandson Christen and granddaughters Stephanie and Rosalind. His great granddaughter Jayleen and all great grandkids on video. His loving friend Nina. The love for him was endless! The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Funeral Service will be at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be private.
