Dixie Joann Blosser

Dixie Joann Blosser, 92, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Madison Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on November 18, 1930, at the home of her parents, the late John David and Christina (Berry) Hall.
Dixie worked as Department Head at Zayers Department Store in Martinsburg and 17 years at Heck's Department Store in Sabraton.
She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Blosser and his wife, Donna; daughter, April Evans and her companion, Neil Fogle; grandchildren, Machelle, and Gerald Blosser, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jessica Blosser, Gerald L. Blosser, III and Zachary Blosser; great great grandchildren, Olivia Blosser, Davian Bussey, Abryanna Blosser, Makiyah Blosser, Mya Blosser, Ryan Bussey, Elijah Blosser, Taevyn Blosser, and Aaliyah Bussey; and sister, Mattie Kennedy.
In addition to her parents, Dixie is preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Blosser who passed away in 1986; great great grandchildren, Ryan Andrew Thomas, Kayla McKenzie Thomas; and 10 siblings.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV on Saturday, December 3rd from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Delmas Gary Blosser officiating. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Delmar, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
