Dixie Joyce Clark, age 86, formerly from Sheffield, AL and currently from Dandridge, TN, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, surrounded by family. Dixie is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Randy Clark, and her parents, Jesse and Ruth Owens and 7 siblings. She leaves behind her daughter and beloved son-in-law Kim and Aaron Smith; grandchildren Jill and Travis Myers, Chad and Megan Minor; great-grandchildren Haven, Emma, Owen and Karlie. Her brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Beverly Owens; beloved niece Diane and Geary Gentry. Dixie worked for 17 years as the school secretary at Hatton Elementary School before her retirement in 1984. She was a loving Mother, a Nan to grandchildren and great-grandchildren and had a fun, beautiful soul. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved her family, her church and working in her flowers.
She loved well and was well loved by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Dixie’s Life will be held for friends and family on Saturday November 22, 2025, at 4pm at Shady Grove Methodist Church in Dandridge, TN. The service will be officiated by her beloved pastor Jason McIntosh and special friend Mitch Cain.
