DIXIE ANN (WASHBURN) HORTON BORN IN PORTLAND, OREGON ON SEPT. 3, 1939, TO WILLIAM WELLBORN WASHBURN AND BEATRICE TENNIE FORD. DIXIE GRADUATED FROM TIGARD HIGH SCHOOL IN 1957 AND MARRIED WILLARD TEED (BUD) HORTON ON SEPT. 7TH, 1957. DIXIE BECAME A HOMEMAKER AND CARETAKER TO HER FAMILY AND MANY OTHERS. DIXIE IS SURVIVED BY HER FIVE CHILDREN: BUD, JIM, MIKE, DIXIE AND TERRI: SISTER MARY JEAN KASTEL; 15 GRANDCHILDREN, 13 GREAT-GRAND CHILDREN AND 1 GREAT-GREAT- GRANDCHILD, AND MANY OTHERS. OUR MOTHER WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR BEING KIND, LOVING, THOUGHTFUL AND LOYAL A CHEERLEADER TO MANY AND A WONDERFUL WIFE.
DIXIE'S FAMILY WILL BE CELEBRATING HER LIFE IN THE MONTH OF MAY; DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED ALONG WITH LOCATION.
