Dixie Lee Orleans Koehn, 89, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1935 in Enid, Oklahoma to the late Charles A. Orleans and the late Sylvia Metzler Orleans. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Dena Upshaw (David) and Anita Hofmeister (Todd); sons, Bryan Koehn (Renee) and Edward Koehn (Karen); grandchildren, Laura Upshaw, Dan Upshaw, Jamie Upshaw, Hannah Tran, Ben Hofmeister, Chelsea Koehn, Bailey Phillips, John Koehn; great grandchildren, Dustin Lee, Elise Upshaw, Emery Phillips, Elizabith Phillips, Brooklyn Koehn, and Simon Tran; great great grandchildren, Ruby Jordan Lee and Aspen Lee; sister, Betty Mahan.
Dixie was the widow of Fr. Edward Koehn with whom she celebrated 62 beautiful years of marriage. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Sylvia Smith and Jo Ella Montgomery; brother, Charles Orleans, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hightower's Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel with Father Jim Cheetham officiating.
Interment will follow at Glenn Memorial Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Trinity Anglican Church at www.TrinityAnglicanChurch.com in Dixie's name.
