Dixie L. Vogt

1936 - 2026

Dixie L. Vogt, 89, of Urich, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the Carnegie Village Rehabilitation and Health Center in Belton, MO. She was born August 8, 1936 in Urich, MO the daughter of Edward L. Doll and Dorothy (Vannoster) Doll.


She married Kenny Vogt on June 26, 1955 in Urich, MO. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1999.


Dixie worked for Western Electric as Plant Inspector for 28 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Lucas United Methodist Church, Urich, MO, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She graduated from Urich High School in 1953. She was a member of the Urich Museum and the Henry County Museum, volunteering whenever she could. She was a member of the Urich Reunion Committee, a past Woman of the Year for the Urich Reunion, and she and Kenny were past Grand Marshals of the Reunion. She was also a member of the Urich Ladies Auxiliary and the Red Hat Club. She loved being around people, having family at her house for Christmas Eve was a special time for her. You could usually find Dixie out tending to her 1 ½ acre property around her house.


Surviving are one brother, Delton Doll, Blue Springs, MO; one sister, Deana Borland, Lee's Summit, MO; one sister-in-law, Judy Doll, Urich, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.


In addition to her husband Kenny, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dallas Doll, Delbert Doll and Daniel Doll; and one sister, Donna Powers.


Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Lucas United Methodist Church, Urich, MO. Pastor Glenda Dethloff will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in the Urich Cemetery, Urich, MO.
