DOBRILA TODOROVSKI

Dobrila Todorovski (née Stefanovski), lovingly known as "Baba," passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Avon Hospital of the Cleveland Clinic. She was 93 years old and formerly of Westlake.

Born on August 21, 1932, in the Republic of Macedonia in the former Yugoslavia, Dobrila lived a life defined by hard work, remarkable strength, sacrifice, and an unshakable devotion to family. As the first of her siblings to immigrate to the United States, she faced an unfamiliar world with courage and resolve-determined not only to build a better life for herself, but to open the door for those she loved. Through her generosity and tireless effort, she helped bring her brothers, sisters, and their families to this country, offering homes, guidance, and opportunity, while continuing to support family abroad.

Dobrila spent many years in Westlake before moving to Avon to live with her daughter. Baba was known as one of the kindest, strongest and hardest-working people anyone could know, a woman whose quiet sacrifices shaped the lives of generations.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Suzanne (Regis) Balaban, and her loving grandchildren: Kaylee, who adored her as her "sweet Baba," and Isabella, who lovingly called her "Bubba." She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nikifor, in 2005, as well as four brothers and four sisters.

Though she has left this world, Dobrila's legacy lives on in the family she built, the lives she lifted, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Road, Avon. Interment will follow at St. Theodosius Orthodox Cemetery in Cleveland.
