Doc Gene Horton, of Cheyenne, passed at Davis Hospice surrounded by his loving family.
Doc was born on October 19, 1944, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Harold and Zelda Horton. Doc enjoyed ranching and working for the Union Pacific Railroad. He started Rainbow Enterprises in 1983 enjoying demolition work with his equipment. He owned and operated the Redwood Bar until retirement.
He is survived by his Wife Bonnie, children Dusty (Christine), Kelly (Karen), Shelley (Toad) and Wendy (Matt), nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, Sisters Sharon Horton Federer and Barbara Horton.
Information on a celebration of life will be shared by the famly at a later date. In lieu of flowers Doc would have wished that you spend extra time with your loved ones.
