Doice Scott Ward

Scott Ward, father, beloved son, brother, uncle, Papaw, and friend, passed away peacefully October 26, 2025, surrounded by family. Born May 4, 1959, he is survived by his son, Jason Ward of Guy, parents R.G. and Marvanell Ward of Formosa, two brothers John (Teresa) of Guy and Frankie (Erica) of Greenwood, his sister Sindee (David) Morse of Formosa, and three grandsons: Remington, Riggin, and Ridge, who were the light of his life, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Scott was a proud truck driver who loved life on the open road, known to many by his CB handle, "Lazy Boy." He had a deep love for music, especially classic rock, NHRA drag racing, fast muscle cars, deer hunting and strong coffee. Scott was rarely seen without his Carhartt gear, his Snap-on tools close by, his hats, and, of course, his dip. Scott loved his family, and above all loved God. His boisterous laugh, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held November 29, 2025: 12:00 to 3:00 at the Formosa Community Center. Family and friends are invited to come and share memories as we honor Scott's life. Scott's journey on this earth has ended, but his stories, laughter, and love will live on forever in our hearts.
