Dolis Dean White

Dolis Dean Collins White, age 89, of Columbus, MS, passed away March 6, 2025, at University of South Alabama Hospital in Mobile, AL. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Church with Rev. Anthony Miller officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the church. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. White was born May 23, 1935, in Winston County, MS, to the late Lloyd and Gerthia Thrasher Collins. She worked at Sears for many years and was a long time member of Living Faith Tabernacle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Jordan, grandson, Jonathan White, and great grandson, Caleb McCool.

Survivors include her husband of 75 years, J. T. White, Jr. of Columbus, MS, sons, Glenn White of Columbus, MS, Lawrence White of Steens, MS, and Charles White and his wife Gina of Millport, AL, daughters, Brenda Campbell of Aberdeen, MS, and Laura McCool and her husband Bobby of Steens, MS, grandchildren, Angela Wilson, Jennifer Costas, Jessica Cunningham, Justin White, and Jaleb White, and numerous great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Justin White, Jaleb White, Chris Costas, Ty Wilson, Tim Wilson, and Michael Miller.
