Dollie Mae (Stephenson) Smith, 81, of Liberal, MO passed away on Monday October 7, 2024. She was born in Stockton, MO to Myrl and Almeda Stephenson. She married Ralph Smith in 1970. She and Ralph enjoyed time together in their home with family and friends. Dollie was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Liberal. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family. She will be missed.
Dollie is survived by her children Marlene (Mark) Beard of Lockwood, MO, Patty Smith of Joplin, MO, Tammy Criner of Pittsburg, KS, Dorothy (Rick) Spivey of Liberal, MO, and Andrew (Amber) Smith of Pittsburg, KS. She is also survived by her sister Donna (Deryle) Rotramel of Liberal, MO, brother Wayne (Shirley) Stephenson of Springfield, TN, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great grand dog Appa.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandchild James Hoag, and siblings Lois Etter and Leroy Stephenson.
A funeral service will be held at Konantz Warden Funeral Home on Thursday October 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Alder Cemetery in Stockton, MO.
If you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, the family suggests Alder Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
The funeral home will be open extended hours, until 7:00 PM, on Wednesday for visitors to sign the book.
If you would like to sign the book in advance of services, the funeral home is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or you can sign the book at our drive-up box located on the north side of the north driveway.
