Dolores L. Clair

Dolores L. Clair, 90, of Penn Township, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022. She started each day with Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it." Dolores, known as Delo, was born July 23, 1931, in Penn Township, and was a daughter of the late Kathryn (Weightman) and Charles "Charlie" Dietrich. She was a faithful member of Penn-Zion Lutheran Parish, where she was involved with Lutheran Christian Women. She was also a member of the Penn Township Senior Citizens and had worked for many years at Jeannette Glass. In addition to her parents, Delo was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald R. Clair; a son, Daryl R. Clair; and a brother, Charles Dietrich. She is survived by a daughter, Donita L. (Jack) Sanders; son, Douglas R. Clair; several grandchildren, Jerilyn (Nick) Osborn, Daniel (Rachel) Clair, Brittany (Justin) Sveizkas, Brady (Danielle) Sanders, Chad (Lauren) Clair, Courtney Clair (Zak Besser) and Hannah Guyon; three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Clair, Layne Osborn and Everett Sanders; two brothers, Kenneth (Sharon) and Kerry Dietrich; and several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. Friends will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022, at LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2022, in Penn-Zion Lutheran Church, 3417 Route 130, Harrison City. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery. Delo's family would like to thank the staff of William Penn Personal Care & Senior Suites and her special aide, Shawn, Dr. Kevin Wong, Three Rivers Hospice, and her "bestest" friend, Jean Heasley, for the wonderful care and companionship that she received. She wishes to be remembered this way: "A beautiful life that came to an end, she died as she lived, everyone's friend.
