With deep love and cherished memories, the family of Dolores J. Fouts, 90, of Canton, Ohio, announces her peaceful passing on August 31, 2025. Born in Canton on April 11, 1935, Dolores was a lifelong resident whose presence filled every room with warmth, laughter, and a joyful spirit that touched countless lives.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late William E. Fouts, with whom she shared a lifetime of devotion and love. Together they raised two sons: the late Robert (Jeri) Fouts and surviving son Jimmy E. (Carol) Fouts. She was the proud grandmother of Lisa (Adam) McClain, Shay (Harley) Constable, and Daniel Fouts, and the adoring great-grandmother of Hannah (Anthony) Hall, Ciera (Zach) Harvey, Konnor McClain, Bria Constable, and Vivian Constable.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Helen Mangus, her husband William, and her son Robert, Dolores's legacy is carried forward in the hearts of her surviving family and friends who loved her dearly.

A woman of remarkable energy and passion, Dolores found joy in life's simple yet profound pleasures. She was a lifelong dancer who delighted in tap dancing and the lively rhythms of polka, never missing a chance to let music guide her steps. Her creativity shone through her crocheting, where she lovingly crafted intricate afghan blankets that brought beauty and comfort to many. Her skill and artistry were recognized at local craft shows and county fairs, where her works often earned top honors.

Dolores's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was deeply committed to her church and devoted countless hours volunteering at the Breast Cancer Center at Aultman Hospital. Through her compassion and generosity, she offered strength, kindness, and hope to those in need.

Friends are invited to call on the family on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schneeberger-Oser Funeral Home in Canton. Immediately following the calling hours, a celebration of Dolores's life will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the same location, where loved ones will gather to share stories, memories, and gratitude for the joy she brought to this world.

Delores's family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Massillon Laurels and Meadow Winds for the exceptional care and kindness they provided to her.
