Dolores Kovach Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Houser-Millard Funeral Directors - Jefferson City on Feb. 18, 2026.
Dolores Margaret Kovach, 93, of Centertown, Missouri, passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Born on July 29, 1932, in Windber, Pennsylvania, Dolores was the daughter of George Kovach and Julia Kovach (Podrasky).

Dolores worked as a seamstress in the retail industry. She enjoyed making Barbie clothes as a hobby and for her daughters in their younger years. During her time living in Pennsylvania, she also made funeral gowns for families in her community. Music was another gift in Dolores's life. She learned to play the piano at a young age and shared her various musical talents with her youngest daughter, Carol, and granddaughter, Kaleena. She would often accompany her husband Tom on piano while he played the accordion in various nursing homes.

Dolores was also known as Dee throughout her life. She loved animals and usually had at least one dog and cat or two in her home.

Dolores was deeply loved by all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them celebrating birthdays (especially her own), weddings, graduations, births, etc. She moved to Missouri in her later years to be cared for by her youngest daughter, Carol, and her family. She was embraced by the family in Missouri, where she lived a quieter life but still surrounded by love.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Frampton, Carol Lee (Paul) Rosslan, Jamie Frampton and daughter-in-law, Mariann Frampton. Grandchildren: Karri Hardison-Palmer, Stephen (Rosa) Salazar, Kaleena (Joe) Salazar-McMichen, Chris (Tina) Frampton, Jenna (Ryan) Papcunik, Scott Rosslan, Lee (Chris) Gerloff, Zach Rosslan and Levi Frampton; Great-Grandchildren: Meagan (Fernando), Jeremey, Elijah, Belen, Issac, Lucas, Ava, Atticus, Aria, Kayden and Mace; Great-Great-Grandchildren: DeVonte, Ronnie, Landyn, Jaelynn, Nora, Cecilia, Julian, Sienna, and Santino.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Wilbur (Bill) Frampton Jr., Sam Mondi and Tom Klotz and her children, William (Billy), Thomas, Daniel, Mary Ellen, and Joseph Frampton, and her sister, Gloria (Kovach) Gleason.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to donor's choice.
