A visitation with the family will be Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 1:00 PM–2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a service beginning at 2:00 PM in the chapel. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Mrs. O'Quinn was born on March 22, 1931, in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Mr. Luther Floyd and the Mrs. Mary Bostic Ladd. She graduated from Gulfport High School in Gulfport, Mississippi in 1949. She married the love of her life, Samuel Allen O'Quinn, in the chapel at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi in 1959. Upon moving to Warner Robins, Georgia in 1967, she was employed with the Military Family Housing Office, retiring in 1992. She was a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Asbury Sunday School Class, Trinity United Methodist Women, and the Joyful Noise choir. She volunteered at the Trinity Food Pantry and was a driver for Meals on Wheels. She was a loyal follower of Northside High School and a lifetime member of the Northside High School Booster Club. Mrs. O'Quinn lived the last four years at Morning Pointe Senior Living in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she made wonderful friends. She was a faithful member of Valley Church.

Mrs. O'Quinn was predeceased by her husband Samuel A. O'Quinn and brother, Donald Ladd. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (John) Gargis of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Nancy (Allen) Cooley of Madison, Mississippi; her brother, Douglas Ladd of Huntsville, Alabama; three grandsons, Samuel (Emily) Gargis, Matthew Gargis, and Zachary Cooley; two great-grandsons, Landon and Owen Gargis, along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Fund or the Trinity Food Pantry.

Nancy and Becky, we loved your folks so much. We were so blessed to be able to count them as our Asbury friends at Trinity. God certainly said, "Well Done" when they arrived at the pearly gates. Hugs for all your family.
