Dolores K. Trammell

Dolores Kathryn Dale Trammell, 99. passed away peacefully February 26, 2025. Born July 26, 1925, in Ridgeway, Mo, she was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1943 graduate of Ridgeway High School. Dolores married Henry Trammell (deceased) on May 31, 1944, and they shared 76 wonderful years together. She was a dedicated member of Buckley Chapel and later Ridgeway United Methodist Church.
Dolores was a farmer's wife, working alongside Henry on their farm west of Ridgeway where they raised row crops and milked dairy cows. She later resided in the "Tuggle" house, her grandparents' home in Ridgeway. Dolores had a gift for making friends feel like family, and enjoyed playing cards and games with loved ones. She was a talented quilter, gifting each grandchild a quilt upon their high school graduation. Dolores and Henry also loved to travel and spent over 20 winters in Mission, Texas, making many dear friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, sons, Larry and Jerry; grandson, Lynn; and son-in-law, Wayne. She is survived by her daughter, Denise; grandchildren, Lisa (Randy), Ty (Nicole), Tristan (Kameron), Jared (Julianne), David, and Derek (Katie): nephew, Doug (Rolanda); nieces, Debbie and Esta Sue; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren.
Dolores will be laid to rest beside her husband at Ridgeway Cemetery. Strong and funny, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The next time you see a butterfly, remember Dolores and her loving spirit.
Services will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. at the Ridgeway Methodist Church, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Memorial gifts to the donors choice.
