Eddie Franklin Dannar, 86 of Bethany, died Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Pine View Manor, Stanberry, MO.
Eddie Franklin Dannar was born August 1, 1938 at Albany, Gentry County Hospital. To Arthur and Eva (Spainhower) Dannar. He was the fourth of six children. Charles Lewis (Betty), Ivan Loyd (Linda), Leota Zonell (Max) Adkins, Eddie Franklin (Evalee) (Dee), Marilyn Leotta (Harold) Willis, Butch Owens), and Eva Claire (Michael) Folan.
He attended country school, Mosquito Bend Country School until his fourth year to attend McFall School until McFall was consolidated with Pattonsburg. He graduated from there in 1956.
He later married Evalee Hurd and they had four children during their 48 years of marriage. The twins: Deborah Jean (David Karns), Edward Dean; Natalie Gay (Jim Lance), and Gary Weldon.
After Evalee's death he married Dee until her death.
Ed worked for 32 years for GMAC in Fairfax, Kansas. He was given many awards for his attendance and traveled everyday two hours each way.
Ed was proud of all his friends and family and never met a stranger.
He enjoyed working on lawn mowers.
He will be laid to rest beside Evalee in Fairview Cemetery south of McFall.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Evalee, second wife: Dee; sons: Gary and Eddie; Daughter: Natalie; brother; Charles and sister: Eva Clair.
Ed is survived by his Daughter: Debbie (Dave) Karns, Paris, MO; Brother: Ivan Dannar, Grangeville, ID; sisters: Marilyn Owens, St. Joseph, Zonell Adkins, Eugene, OR; 7 grandchildren.
Memorial services: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 27, Bethany Memorial Chapel. Inurnment in the Fairview Cemetery, McFall at a later date.
Cremation provided by Bethany Memorial Chapel. Tributes may be left at www.bethanymemorialchapel.com.
