Dolores (Dalki) Tyczkowski, 96, of Manistee, passed away at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital on October 11, 2022.
Dolores was born on July 31, 1926, to the late Leonard F. and Christine (Socher) Kaczmarek. She was the oldest of 7 children.
She married Floyd Tyczkowski at St. Joseph's Church on September 3, 1988 and was blessed with two more daughters.
She spent most of her life working at the Glen of Michigan and being a homemaker where she enjoyed cooking and baking. She was always there for anyone that needed help.
Dolores is survived by daughters, Marilyn (Charles) Francis of Manistee, Pat Myers of Holland, MI, and Cindy (Lynn) Bollman of Cadillac, MI. Grandchildren, Gina Francis of Manistee, MI, Todd (Rachelle) Francis of Grosse Ile, MI, Eric (Pam) Myers of Lake Forrest, IL, Kurt Myers of Cannon City, CO. Great grandchildren, Kayla Hughes of Manistee, MI, Oliver, Simon and Dexter Francis of Grosse Ile, MI, Amelia and Nate Myers of Lake Forrest, IL. Sisters, Rogene Newman and Shirley McNeil and brother Chester Kaczmarek. Dolores is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd and first husband Edward J. Dalki, sister Delphine Tabaczka, brothers Floyd and Richard "Skitzer" Kaczmarek, sisters-in-law Dorothy and Mary Ann Kaczmarek, son-in-law John Myers, brothers-in-law David Newman, James McNeil, and Al Tabaczka; one niece Karen Kurtz and one nephew Kyle Falk.
Mass of Christian Burial with be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday October 18, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Basil Lek officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee. The family will receive friends and family for visitation at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers to consider memorial contributions to Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry or Homeward Bound Animal Shelter.
