Dolores Donez Womack, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the age of 92. Born on May 26, 1932, in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Paul and Inez Rader. Donez was a pillar of strength and kindness.
She graduated from Blackwell High School, a proud achievement that set the stage for a lifelong dedication to both work and family. Donez was crowned as Homecoming Queen at Northern Oklahoma College, where she graduated with an Associate’s degree.
Donez met the love of her life, Gene Womack, while in college. They later married in 1953. Donez and Gene spent 59 wonderful years together.
Donez started her career as a sales associate for a local real estate company in Perry. Later she enjoyed a fulfilling career as an administrative assistant at Ditch Witch, where her professionalism and nurturing spirit created a welcoming environment for her colleagues. She was a member of PEO, the Garden Club and United Methodist Women’s Group. Donez’s passions also extended to the garden, as she loved tending to her flowers, nurturing life with her gentle touch. She brought beauty not only into her own life but into the lives of everyone around her.
Donez was more than her career; she was the heartbeat of her family. Her love for her children was profound, supporting them through life’s challenges and celebrating their victories. She leaves behind her cherished daughters, Sharon Kaiser of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Cartha Coker and her husband Brent of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Her son, Steve Womack, along with his partner Cedric Weatherspoon of Oklahoma City, and her daughter Stephanie Rupp and husband Mark of Perry, Oklahoma.
Donez's warmth extended to her grandchildren, Kilee Kaiser and husband Rick, Matt Kaiser, Breigh Coker, Carson Coker and wife Morgan, Chad Coker, Dwayne Weatherspoon, Aaron Weatherspoon, Savannah Cermak and husband Tim, Laddie Rupp and wife Tory. These grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she took immense joy in their accomplishments and milestones. Donez’s legacy continues to flourish through her great-grandchildren, Gabriel Kaiser, Elaina Kaiser, Niloo Weatherspoon, Beckett Rupp, Kellen Rupp, Xander Cermak, and Ash Cermak, whose lives are rich with her love and guidance.
Donez was preceded in death by her loving parents, Paul and Inez Rader, as well as her beloved husband, Gene Womack, brother Carl Rader, sister Pauline and husband Jack Belford, sister Phyllis Mormon, and brother JR and wife Judy Rader, who all enriched her life in countless way.
Donez Womack’s life was defined by her unyielding love for her family, her incredible spirit, and her gentle heart. Her memory will forever shine in the lives she touched, and though she will be missed dearly, her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
