Doloris Beaty Eldredge

Doloris Beaty Eldredge, of Dallas Metroplex Area, passed away September 18, 2025. She was born on September 30, 1934 in Albany, GA to J.K. and Almarine (Carver) Beaty.

Doloris had many loves. First was her devotion to her husband Buddy and their family. This included her beloved black Labrador CR. Her home was always filled with love, immaculately clean, and looked for any opportunity to get family and friends together. As a young woman she won several beauty pageants including Peanut Bowl Queen in Georgia. She achieved her Life Masters in Bridge and enjoyed her many bridge clubs where they gathered to compete, visit, and share. For her almost 91 years she always had a big smile on her face, kindness in her heart, and spread happiness wherever she was. She was surrounded by her children during her last day and knew she was loved.

She was preceded in death; and beloved husband: C.R. "Buddy" Eldredge; by her daughter: Sherry Stegall; and her brother: Jimmy Meares. She is survived children: Rick Eldredge and wife Karen of Dallas, TX; Kathy Short of Flower Mound, TX, Pattie Buikema and husband Chuck of Poetry, TX, David Gatz and wife Karen of Carrollton, TX, and Gina Eldredge of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Todd Short, David Short, Christopher Gatz, Collin Gatz, Maggie Derrick and Hannah Lay; and ten great grandchildren; along with a host of loving relatives and dear friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:30am Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, 75221. Family and friends will be received Monday evening on September 22, 2025 at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall Location from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
