Domenick Anthony Boffa, Jr., 73, of Toms River, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Community Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, raised his family in Staten Island, NY and recently relocated to New Jersey 6 years ago. Domenick built a life rooted in dedication to his family and hard work. Before his retirement, he served as Director of Information Technology at Verizon in New York City, where he was respected for his leadership and technical expertise. Domenick was a man of many passions. He loved spending his free time fishing, working with computers, and building classic car models-interests that reflected both his curiosity and his craftsmanship.
He was predeceased by his parents, Domenick Anthony Boffa, Sr. and Rose Boffa. Domenick leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Patricia Boffa; his three sons and their spouses, Christopher and Danielle Boffa of Morganville, NJ, Timothy and Joann Boffa of Staten Island, NY, and Paul and Melissa Boffa of Barnegat, NJ. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Roseann Woods of Brooklyn, NY, and Judy and her husband Phillip Lorenz, also of Brooklyn, NY. Domenick will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren Samantha (Lawrence) Gipe, Matthew, Eleanor, Olivia, Annie, and Emma Boffa and his adored great-grandchildren, Lawrence and Domenick Gipe.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, June 13, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel's Historic Church in Marlboro. Interment will be private.
