Domenick Traina Jr.

Domenick Traina Jr., age 87, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, September 26, 2025, at home surrounded by his beloved family and his faithful companion, Luna. Born and raised in the vibrant community of Ybor City, Domenick grew up immersed in the rich traditions and close-knit spirit that would shape his life. It was there, among the historic streets of his childhood neighborhood, that he discovered both his life's work and his greatest love. He became a master baker, honing his craft with dedication and artistry, and eventually realized his dream by opening Don's Bakery, which grew to become one of the largest bakeries in the Tampa Bay area – a testament to his skill, work ethic, and commitment to quality. In June 1957, Domenick married his soulmate Felice, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Their marriage, which spanned more than 50 years, was a testament to enduring love and partnership. A man with a heart of gold, Domenick's greatest legacy lives on through his family: his three children, Cynthia Lynn, Domenick Vincent, and Donna Joy; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved and blessed by his devotion to his family. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
