Domingo was a very warm hearted and kind person. He had a heart for giving and would even give the

jacket off his back to another who needed help. He was born and raised resident of Brooklyn NY and

grew up in Atlantic Ave before making his way to Park Slope. He was a caregiver for his mother before

she deceased. He is predeceased by his long time partner Laura Devaney, his son Kwasi and daughter

Luna and her partner Younes and their three children. He was a great uncle to his second nephew Keith

and took care of Keith in his later teenage years. His was a foreman in his younger years and was an avid

conga player and would play in Prospect Park until early midlife. His enjoyed sharing the gospel and

cooking and shared his favorite Hispanic meals and eggplant parmigiana with family members and

friends. He will be surely missed by all. May he rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear about my Uncle Dom´s passing. My heart goes out to the entire family during this difficult time.

When I think back on my childhood, I remember how Uncle Dom was the first person to buy me jewelry that I can truly recall. He gave me a cross necklace, and that memory is something I will always treasure. I also fondly remember sharing birthday cakes with him at my grandparents´ house, since our birthdays were only two days apart. Those moments are special to me, and I´ll carry them with me always.
