Dominic Di Gregorio, 87, of Scotch Plains, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025. Born in Genoa, Italy, Dominic built a life filled with love, family, and joy.

A devout Catholic, Dominic lived his faith with quiet strength and grace, finding comfort and purpose through Jesus and sharing his values through love and forgiveness. He embraced each day with warmth and optimism, teaching the importance of unconditional love by example.

Dominic had a deep appreciation for music, dancing, and life's simple pleasures, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. He could pick up almost any instrument and play it, from the harmonica and ukulele to the accordion, with a special love for the guitar and piano, where his joy truly came alive.

He is survived by his children Susan Pastuzyn (husband Gregory) and Rocco DiGregorio (wife Judy), and his former wife, Angelina Cotter. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Dominic. Dominic's legacy lives on through his nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A successful entrepreneur, he owned and operated a lace manufacturing business for many years, working tirelessly with vision, skill, and dedication-generously providing for his family through his hard work and love.

A memorial gathering will be held. Saturday, September 27th from 10am to 12pm at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090. The Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church at 1230pm on Saturday, September 27th. Cremation was private.

Dominic will be remembered for his generous heart, joyful spirit, and enduring example of unconditional love.
