Dominic S. LaForge, 49, of Billings, Montana went home to be with the Lord on March 27th, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born on July 25th, 1975 in Sheridan, Wyoming to the late Rachel LaForge and the late Myron Little Light, Sr.
Dominic grew up in the Wyola and Lodge Grass area and later moved to Lockwood in Billings. Later graduating 8th grade from Lockwood middle school. While attending Lockwood, he met Mecv Brockie and the two became very close and took each other as brothers. From there the Brockie family took in Dominic as their own moving to the Belknap area, later graduating from Hays Lodgepole High School in 1995. Growing up, he was always participating in basketball tournaments, traveling all over Indian country. Dominic loved to hang out with family and go karaoking, always taking cruises with his sisters, jammin' oldies.
He is preceded in death by his mother Rachel LaForge, father Myron Little Light, Sr., his brothers Austin and Teddy Little Light; sisters Natalia Little Light, Roberta Nomee, Lulu and Rosanna Dust; aunts Marvelene LaForge-Birdchief, and Latonna Little Light; uncles Quentin, Bailey, Tyler and Ronald LaForge, Sr.; grandparents, Gilbert LaForge, Sr., Mary Bear All Time, Ted Little Light and Theresa Walks Over Ice. Descendant of the late Louis and Elizabeth Walks Over Ice.
Dominic is survived by his special companion Tamera Lincoln; his children Cody, Desmond Chynna, Demetri, Deja, Deshawn, and Dartaynian, 8 grandchildren; his step children he took as his own Camilla, Melissa, Pamela, Landon, Malia and a special grandson Jonathan, his step mother Kaylene; his sisters, Tweet (JD), Mandy, Marshea (Boach) Chalepah, Shylei Little Light, Juanita (Conrad) Yellowmule; brothers Myron (Ivy) Little Light, Jr., Jonafrin (Tesia) Pretty Paint, Peter (Andrea) Big Hair, Chauncey (Corina); cousins he took as sisters Bertha (Elliott) Driftwood, Marina (Eric) Plainbull, Charla Old Bear, April, Barbie, and Olive LaForge, Majel Yellowtail, Ursula, Christina, and Pinky Sanchez, Colby and Skye Doyle, Lisa and Flora; brothers Roland and Bailey Jr., Gilbert, Tyler, Mitchell LaForge, Christian, Vaughn, and Julian Doyle, DJ Oleyte; his brothers he took in as his own Mecv Brockie, Justin Jowart, JD Roman Nose, Pascal Grapard, Jericho, Delon Rockabove, and Jake Bribbo; nephews Kymani (Autumn) and Zephaniah Little Light; aunts Betty LaForge, Rena Frank, Valentina (Roman) Sanchez, Beldean(Alex) Plainfeather, Marilyn White, Jennifer and Rebecca Jefferson, Joyce LaForge, Pauline and Vanessa Little Light, Kathryn Pretty On Top, Lynn Tushka, Mikki (George) Riddle, Jewel (Vincent) Crooked Arm; uncles Gilbert "Tiny" LaForge, Harold Jess Brien, Shobe, Orland and TR (Steph) Little Light, Jim Tushka Jr. and Michael(Ana) Old Crane Jr. Larry and Dana Tobacco; grandmothers, Mary Louise LaForge, Sandra Grant, Annebelle Hunts the Arrow, Angela Red Wolf, Mary Black Eagle, and Delma Jean Yarlott, grandfather Grady Hunts the Arrow, special nephews he was very close to include Artiro, Tyus, Ashley, Jr., Justice, Tamari Rock Above, Journey Roman Nose, and Teegan Doyle along with numerous nieces and nephews.
His favorite saying with his close sister Tweet was "Fox Service Center" holding hands and skipping.
His extended family includes Bouyer, Jefferson, Plainfeather, Real Bird, Red Wolf, Crooked Arm, White Clay, Whiteman, Moccasin, Driftwood, Little Light, Carpenter, Hunts the Arrow, Stewart, Sees The Ground, Covers Up, Walks Over Ice, Black Eagle, and Fitzpatrick. Our family is large, please forgive us if we have forgotten anyone in our time of grief.
