Dominique Antoine Obituary
Memorial services will be held April 12, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Dominique Antoine, 71, who passed away March 12, 2025 at her residence. Father Steve LeBlanc will officiate the services. Eugene Cormier and Gregory DeCuir will be the lectors.
Survivors include husband, Eugene Antoine of Lafayette; two sisters; Martine DeDecker of France and Genevieve Decuir of Marksville, La.; and one brother, Alain DeDecker of Belgium.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Odette DeDecker.
Dominique was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She traveled quite a bit in her life but came to call Lafayette her home since 1992. She was a French teacher with the Lafayette Parish School System, and retired after 36 years.
The family requests that visitation be held on April 12 between the hours of 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Walters Funeral Home.
