MR. DON L. CRANE, age 69, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, September 8, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Daniel Cook and Rev. Mike Grenade officiating, with interment in Gresston Congregational Holiness Cemetery.
Don was born in Thomaston, GA on July 12, 1955, to the late Marjorie Parkerson Crane and D.W. Crane. He was a lifelong resident of Dodge County and a 1974 graduate of Dodge County High School. He was a former owner and operator of Crane's TV and Video, Crane's Properties, and farmed for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, bird hunting, and working on his classic cars. Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by his Sister, Deborah J. Mullis.
He is survived by his Wife of 47 years – Regina Gail Mullis Crane of Eastman, GA; Daughter – Ashley C. Coley (Dave) of Eastman, GA; Grandson – Aiden Coley of Eastman, GA; Sister – Kathy C. Woodham (Jim) of Eastman; Brothers – Mike Crane (Denise) of Eastman, GA and Terry Nobles (Diane) of Savannah, GA; Brother-in-law – Emory Mullis (Betty) of Collierville, TN; Aunts – Louise Gulledge of Riverdale, GA, Earlene Mullis of Eastman, GA, Shirley Truelove of Gainesville, GA, and Polly Marvetz of Waycross, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews; Faithful Canine Companion of 14 years, his Llewellin Setter – Rebel.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Ashley and Dave Coley, 5511 Cottondale Avenue, Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Sunday, September 8.
