Benny Ray Crane, age 83, of Homosassa, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, following a brief illness.
Ben was born on June 2, 1942, to the late Barnett and Bertha Humphries Crane. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Crane, and sister, Lynda Crane Hester. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Judy Bishop Crane; his sisters Joan (Peter) Oehl and Peg Crane of Cleveland; sister-in-law Terri (Tim) Pfierer of Tampa, FL, and special fur baby Symmi. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Ben was a proud member of White County High School Class of 1960. He served in the United States Army and retired from Northwest Airlines in 2003 after 37 years of service. He continued his career as a consultant for Delta Airlines for many years. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and doing anything to keep himself busy. He was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church.
