Jonah Seabolt Obituary
Jonah was born on March 11, 2009, to J.C. Seabolt and the late Ginger Wiley Seabolt. He was an 11th grade student at White County High School, where his favorite class was welding. His friends knew him as someone they could always count on for a laugh, a helping hand, or just good company. He will be deeply missed, but the kindness and joy he shared will always be remembered. Jonah was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to his mom, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. and Barbara Seabolt and Verden and Evelyn Wiley.
Survivors include his dad, J.C. Seabolt; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Carli Seabolt; nephews, Cade Seabolt, Jaxon Seabolt, and Jace Seabolt; his beloved Bug, Loretta Fain; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Turk officiated. Interment followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. My daughter just moved to the Sautee Nacoochee area from Columbus, GA. In attending Candlelight Services held at the White County High School, we encountered a memorial in the parking lot. Investigating at home, it seems most likely it was for Jonah. We just want to say we are very very sorry. My husband and I have a good friend who has a son and a daughter, but his daughter was killed in the same way. So senseless and it is hard to understand. We are very sorry.
