Don DeGlopper Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Sherri; his children: Pamela and Terry Finger, Jeff and Cheri DeGlopper, Kim and Tom Marcus, Lori DeGlopper and Ned Lindsay, Clark and Roxanne DeGlopper, Mike DeGlopper, Mark and Sandy DeGlopper, Diana and Elliott Van Gent; 34 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; his sister Virginia VanDerWilt.
Don was preceded in death by his son Chris in 2005; his parents William and Henrietta DeGlopper; 2 brothers and a sister.
Don was well known wherever he went. He was a truck driver for many years. He was very active in his community of Borculo and his church, North Blendon Reformed. In his younger years Don managed several baseball teams.
Visitation will be from 1-3 and 5-7 pm Friday, December 22, 2023, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Ottawa Reformed Church, 11390 Stanton Street, West Olive. The service will be live streamed at www.youtube.com/@ottawareformedchurch9067/featured. Interment will be in Overisel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland. www.yntemafh.com
