Don Gullett, age 91, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Don entered this life on December 16, 1932 in Kenwood, Ky to the late Leck and Jeannie Blair Gullett. He was a retired Veteran of The United States Army, having served for 21 years. He went on to retire from Civil Service and was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Don enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son and grandsons. Some would say that he was a pro with his sling shot, and always enjoyed showing his grandsons and anyone who wanted to learn. He was also a UK Basketball fan, and enjoyed cheering on the Wildcats.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Joyce Colvin Gullett, and his brothers, Paul and Willard Gullett.
Survivors include his son, Mike (LeeAnne) Gullett; daughters, Reida (Bethea) Vincent, and Renee (Russell) Thompson; siblings, Wendell (Martha)Gullett, Christine Blanton, and Hope Robinson; grandchildren, John (Lacey)Gullett, Carrie (Jon) Threatt, Daniel (Jessica) Mohon, Jessica Tucker, Emily (Josh) Castro, Amanda Shepherd, Megan (Luke) Baggett, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
