Don Phillips Obituary
He was born in Buford, Georgia on March 11, 1960 to his parents Joel Don Phillips and Bobbie Sue Grier Phillips. He graduated from Johnson High School in 1978. He graduated from Gainesville College.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joel Don Phillips, grandparents, James Robert and Clemmie Vermillion Grier, Clyde Thomas and Annie Mae Phillips.
He retired as a fireman and a paramedic with Station 2 at Clermont and Station 13 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was an avid collector. Greg was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rebecca Aikens Phillips, his mother Bobbie Sue Phillips, sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Paul Harrison, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and June Aikens, Bobby and Robin Aikens; several nephews and nieces.
Visitation is Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 11:00-3:00 at Little and Davenport 355 Dawsonville Hwy., Gainesville, Georgia. Graveside services are at White Sulphur Rd. cemetery next to New Haven Church 3:30 p.m.
